I told my girlfriend I wasn’t going to post about this because at the time it wasn’t a big deal to me. But she says I post everything to the Internet and apparently she’s right because I’m deciding to share this anyways.
Tonight I had my first long bike ride with my roommate since moving to Idaho. We rode the Palouse Trail from Moscow, ID to Pullman, WA and back — roughly 20 miles round trip. Unfortunately the tire I patched in three places didn’t stay fixed, resulting in me stopping to air it up about 6-7 times (I honestly lost count). But anyways — I’m super pumped to do more riding. Next time I’m definitely going to hit the off-road mountain trails a few miles out of town.
Another quick note: I love. I mean LOVE how bike friendly this area is. The roads are made for bikers. There are trails everywhere. But that’s not the best part — the people are. Cars stop for you even if they have the right of way — impressive. You don’t find that most places.

Military Veteran’s AR-15 Confiscated by Police – But the Reason Why Is the Real Story -
Military veteran Corey Thompson, 36, told KDRV-TV that the wanted felon was trying to beak into his home via the back door. Defending his property, Thompson said he warned the criminal that he was armed and he was giving him his one and only warning shot.
“This is the end result. You break into someone’s house, there’s consequences,” Thompson said.
Wielding his AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, the veteran made good on his threat and fired one warning shot. The bullet did not strike the suspect or anyone else.
However, police later determined he wasn’t justified in firing his weapon. Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau said “there was nothing that the suspect was doing that was aggressive enough to justify the shooting.”
Hey thanks for your service to this country and for protecting the neighborhood. Now give us your gun.
I’m getting sick and tired of this. We need to start standing up for these people who’s freedoms are being taken away. These are the things we should be protesting and creating havoc about.
Kindergartener given detention for bringing TINY Lego figure gun on school bus -

Mieke Crane, the child’s mother, insisted that officials at Old Mill Pond Elementary School in Palmer, Pa., overreacted when another student saw the toy, which is slightly bigger than a quarter, and alerted the driver.
Huh! Wow. Yay for more idiots in the school system. Stop brainwashing the kids! And start focusing on things that really matter, you morons.
The bad guys are recruiting young these days. You gotta be careful. It’s a kindergartner with a Lego gun. Oh man.
You better suspend him and make sure he writes an apology. Oh, you already did that?! PHEW! Good! Glad we’re keeping the bad guys off the streets and buses.
Honestly though, I don’t think I’d be able to contain myself without punching every person at that school who was responsible for this in the face. I’d ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ definitely go to jail… I should probably work on that before I have kids… punching that is.

Above is a conversation that I mentioned Republic Wireless in. I love engaging with companies on Twitter — especially active ones, but it’s always disappointing whenever they don’t remember who you are, or worse, don’t read your message correctly.
Maybe I don’t need to explain it in this post, but I was simply stating to Kelly that I would be open to trying a Windows Phone and hinting to RW that they should get one… they apparently skimmed my tweet and definitely didn’t look at the previous ones, or they wouldn’t have replied with what they said… telling me, an already current customer (which I feel my tweet to Kelly appropriately depicts me as), to try out their service.
The lesson is: read things twice before quickly responding. If you have a customer that’s halfway promoting you and halfway suggesting something to you… don’t try to recruit them, you’ve already done that once.
Uh oh. Victoria is figuring out a way of escape :P
Secondly, how do these “holidays” even come about?
